I am all for natural and healthy products. I was so happy to review this book and learn new ways of combining existing products in my kitchen cabinets to make quick and ready to use natural cleaning products. 
With this e-book, you can make over 30 homemade cleaners and pest sprays with items you probably already have in your home!
You can learn how to make your own powder laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwasher detergent, carpet cleaner and more. This is such a useful book, and I warmly recommend it. You can find this book on her site.

Target trip- 8/28/2011

 

OK, you won't believe this, but I only spent $1.39 on a $50.25 worth of things at Target. Here is how:
When you buy 5 Febreze Noticeable warmers you get a $5 Target card.
Febreze is on sale for $2.50
I used 4- $3 off warmer from the P&G of today & 1- $1 any Febreze from Parade insert. Overage .50 and got back $5 gift card. (you can only use 4 like coupons so make sure you use them correctly)
Nutella $3 used 1 -$1
I had a price match from Rainbow $1.88 any Kellogg's Nutri-Grain, MiniWheats cereal, Keebler cookies when you buy 8.
Nutri-grain buy 3 get one free. Used 2-$1/2 off Target coupon & 2-$1/2 manufacturer
Used 2 coupons for free vitamin water when you purchase 2 Nutri-grain
Used a coupon for $1.50 fresh fruit when you buy 2 Keebler cookies

I received this personalized calling cards form Amy Adele in the mail to review. The cards come in individual envelopes, pretty designs and a nice silky pouch.  The cards are made of recycling paper and they are fun and versatile.

Came back from Walgreens. Spending I did better than I planned. $1.34, that was the tax only. I saved 34.38 this trip & I came home with $7 RR (Register Rewards that the store give for your next purchases). I start to like Walgreens ^_^

Paid 1.34 and got 7 RR back. I was supposed to pay 1.35 but the cashier tried to help me finish since I took too long to decide on a filter item and accepted my last $1 RR. Coming home I noticed the tax being more than I paid so I called the manager on the phone and told him I owe them a penny & I will drop it next time I go. He said he has one in his pocket, not to worry about, he will drop it in there. I am trying to be as correct as I can knowing that being truthful helps me gain favor and a good name in the sight of man and that would honor God as well.

This is a $54.15 worth of things, paid 4.21 including tax. I went to 2 Targets and had 2 transactions. Just know that some Targets don't give back catalina for Revlon. Dove for men on sale for 2.78, had 2 $1 T & 2 $1 M- paid .$78 each. Pantene free with coupon. For Revlon used 3 $5 T & 2 $5 M- free +MM. Cascade .97 used 2 $1 free +MM. Mousse 6.99 used 1 $2 T & 1 $2 M, paid $2.99. Nail polish remover .97, Sun Drop- 1.49 used BOGO. I also have 10% off at all trips, so that can make a difference too. T= Target, M=Manufacturer, BOGO= buy one get one free, MM=money maker

I saved $60.63 & paid 21.65 with coupons. It's great when you find clearance and have coupons for it. It's close to free for a lot of items. The Revlon tools were the best deal. Target has $5 off 2 tools in the paper this week+ (3) $5 off catalinas manuf., I only paid $1.50 on all tools. Loreal lipstick $6.11- on sale for 1.52, had $1 off paid .52. Wlech's on sale for $1.99 used $1.50 off coupon, paid .49. Axe on sale for &2.50 used BOGO, paid 2.50 on 2. Suave 2.79, used 1 BOGO paid 2.79 on 2. I shared my coupons with a friend and I only had 1 coupon for 1 free Suave product, so I got another product free. Icy hot 1.98 on sale, used (2) $1 off coupon, paid .98 each. Mousse 6.99, got 2 used $5 off 2, gave one to my friend. Activia .99 each, used $1 off coupon on 3. Air freshener .89, used BTG1 free.

Once you purchase a beauty tool or cosmetics from Revlon it will print out coupons good on next purchases. These are several transactions, at 2 stores and they gave me lots of catalinas back (coupons on the spot). $5 off 2 beauty tools items, or $2 off 1 item. You can find a lot of items under $2. They won't do the overage so make sure you have something else to cover that. This were purchased with $15-20.

I used (2) $2 off Target coupons, the razors (2) $3 off + they gave me a $5 Target gift card when I bought 2. I used (2) .50 off wet ones, (1) $1 off first aid item- free, (1) $1 off sharpie-free, (1) $1 off Oral B- free, (1)$1 tape-free, (1)$1 papermate pens- free, (1)$1 off 2 Cereal boxes, & (1) $1 off Dentec picks, + 15% Target discount!

Under $10 shopping trip at Walgreens and Walmart with coupons. Toothbrush 2.99 with $2 RR back, $3 off Walgreen coupon off 2 Carefree, which made them .50 each, Sally Hansen $3 off coupon, got it for 1.40, Raisels on sale for .45 I believe, at Walgreens. Used buy one get one free of Old Spice + 1 $ off, feminine wipes were under $2 at Walmart. Colgate Total was on sale for buy one get one free, I used 2 coupons of .75 off & the Colgate Cavity I got it for .38 with a .50 off coupon

Target 7/19/2011

 

I paid only $1.11 instead of $15. Here is how. V8 Fusion was 3.09 each, Bic pens on sale for .50 each, PaperMate pens $1.02, Jif peanut butter 2.39. I used 2 manufacturer $1/1 for the juice. One Target coupon $1/2, and had another coupon for a free V8 fusion tea when you buy 2. I had a coupon for 2.29 Jif from Target's samples (which came in the mail), and a coupon for $1 off 2 Bic, and $1 Target coupon for the PaperMate pens.

Walgreens 8/14/2011

I paid .95 cents plus tax and several RR on this items. For the first transaction I used the $10 RR from the Keri lotion to get the Omega smart (on sale for $10) + dove .49 cents for the overage. Paid .49 cents +tax got $10 RR. The second transaction Pert on sale (3.99), Aussie (3), Revlon polish (3.99), chips (1.99) + twix (.49). Used 3 $1 to cover the Pert, Aussie, & Revlon. + the $10 RR from the previous transaction. Paid .46 + tax and got back 7 RR. You can do this the whole week at Walgreens. Rainbow 8/10/11

My husband and I went to Rainbow and got these good deals. $105.61 worth of groceries & paid $36.61 with double coupons and catalinas. General meals had a good deal. When you purchased 6 cereal normal price you get $9 off at checkout plus a coupon for a free milk up to 3.75 & eggs up to 1.50. We got 2 of each since we both had separate transactions. Spaghetti was free when you purchased 2 jars of classico sauce, had 2 $1 coupons for the pasta, they doubled them. Chicken, buy one get one free, had 3 $1 dollar off. Pork ribs had $2 off, dole 2 $.50 off. We had coupons to cover all 12 boxes of cereal. 10 of the total of coupons my husband & I used doubled. Rainbow has double daze each Wedn. & Sa

I received this great progress cards in the mail to review. I don't have children yet, but as a former teacher I can say it provides a large spectrum of information and tips your child should experience. It is definitely a good resource for parents to help their children start their school year off on the right foot. 

The reverse side of most Progress Cards has bubbles for children to check off the behaviors that they practice associated with their desired goal(s).They were developed by Scott Ertl, M.Ed. in his job as an elementary school counselor to help children cope with the new situations coming their way.
