SmartKlean Laundry Kit - Laundry Ball & Stain Remover Review

 

 SmartKlean is a family company that introduced an innovative product, the chemical- free alternative to laundry detergent. It is reusable for 365 wash loads. Retails for $45. 

The Laundry Ball is 100% hypoallergenic and provides a natural wash without leaving any residues behind. There are small beads inside the plastic ball that work together to give you a clean and smell free laundry. 

Just like regular detergent, it doesn't take away heavy stains, so you do need to treat the stains before you put your clothes in the washer. That is where the Stain Remover Stick comes in. It's made of natural ingredients, has a pleasant citrus smell, and retails for $9.80.

 

My Review:

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am very supportive of natural products, and it is a delight to promote them if they do the job. I decided to put them to the test on heavy soiled clothes, to see if there are immediate results. I pre-treated my husband's work shirt on some stains that don't come off with regular washing. I slightly applied the SmartKlean Stain Remover on the stained area, put it in the washer with the SmartKlean Laundry Ball and waited for the end results. 

I have to mention that we use the common top laundry machine on our apartment floor, and I usually use a lot of detergent to make sure my clothes get clean. I was quite nervous this time without adding detergent to the washer, but only a small layer of stain remover. To my amazement, the clothes came cleaner and better looking than I thought.

My husband was really impressed and quite happy to see his work shirt spot free. I will be having 364 more loads to go with the SmartKlean Laundry Ball I got, and I am quite happy that it saves me time and money. Go visit their website and check them out. My review:

When I got the box in the mail I was really excited to see what it contains. I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice variety of samples I would use in no time.

Bask Heavenly Silk Daily Skin lotion- an anti-aging moisturize. Smells very nice and feels soft on hands.

Nubar Nail Lacquers- Phthalate, Formaldehyde, & Toluene Free The color is beautiful. I am more conservative with colors on my nails, but I actually like this color I got. It dries fast and it's not messy.

H2O  Plus Aquafirm + Micro-Collagen Moisturizer- Fights lines and loss of firmness. I just applied it on my half of face to see a difference. But I would probably have to use it more often to see something. I like the moisture in it.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow- nude color, can be used wet or dry. It applies really well on the eye, and it's a neutral color that is complementary to what I usually wear in the fall.

Swissco Nail File It is very sparkly and girlish. I could never have enough nail files for my nails. It's nice to carry it in my purse for a quick fix.

Banana Pudding Squares

Prep:30 min

40 Reduced Fat Nilla Wafers, finely crushed

3 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia Neufchatel Cheese, 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese softend

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip Free Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

3 medium ripe bananas

3 cups skim milk

2 pkg. (4-serving size each) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling

1/2 square Baker's Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, grated

Mix wafers and butter. Press firmly onto bottom of 13x9- inch dish.

 Mix Neufchatel cheese and powered sugar with wooden spoon until well blended. Gently stir in 1&1/2 cups of the whipped topping. Spoon mixture evenly onto crust; spread carefully. Cut bananas in half crosswise; cut each piece lengthwise in half. Arrange banana pieces over Neufchatel cheese mixture. 

Pour milk into a large bowl. Add dry pudding mixture. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. Spoon over bananas. Spread with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving. Makes 24 servings.
