Signing Time Christmas Collection - Videos + Music

What a privilege I had to review this Christmas Collection of songs and signs hosted by Rachel Coleman. In my opinion this is one of the best collections of American Sign Language put to together for children. Children and adults alike will enjoy it.

 I have watched it with my two year old daughter and she really enjoyed the signing and singing. She started singing and signing along with Rachel and the children. If you are like me and you like things organized and ready to go, than you've discovered that no matter how many storage items you have they seem to never be enough. I find it to be true in my outings with my daughter. My purse and diaper bag are not enough to carry everything I need. Or sometimes I just want hands free and I have to hang my bags on her stroller which makes it harder to stroll since the handles are too big and they reach the ground. I chose the lilac color since it's matching one of the bathrooms we have and it is a very pleasant shade.The size in cm is 19x11x7.5, just perfect for your daily routine make-up accessories. The tray is made of thermoplastic resins and it matches the hand mirror, soap dish and dispenser, toothbrush holder and tissue box cover they have from the Rainbow line.

When I opened the box which was carefully covered, I was extremely satisfied with the content. The make-up tray looks very fancy. The lilac tray and the plastic underneath are removable, so if you want to use them separately you can. But I like very much how they look together.

The tea tree oil is a natural anti-bacterial/anti-fungal oil and the uses numerous. I used the tea tree oil for mosquito bites,  minor irritations of the skin, to make deodorant, and it works wonders. Here is the recipe for homemade deodorant:  

Homemade Tea Tree Deodorant Recipe

1/3 c. baking soda
1/2 c. cornstarch
5 TBSP coconut oil
10 drops tea tree essential oil

1 | Mix baking soda and cornstarch in a small bowl.
2 | Heat coconut oil 15-30 seconds until liquefied, add tea tree oil and mix.
3 | Combine oils with powders, and store in an airtight container. Full recipe fits in a 1 cup container.

I know how important is microdermabrasion for the skin. All the accumulation of dead skin and dirt on the face tend to take the radiance and youthfulness of ones face. So using a good exfoliating product is very important. When I first tried the product, I wet my face, I dipped my wet fingers in the jar and applied the sea salt on my face, scrubbing more on my forehead and chin. While cleansing my face I noticed the oil from minerals which gave me more confidence in the product. After drying my face I was expecting it to turn read from so much scrubbing, but to my surprise it didn't. Instead it felt clean, smooth, and nourished. Orblue is the company that sells this kitchen must have tool. I received one Propresser Garlic Press Stainless Steel to review and I am absolutely fascinated with it. Garlic strengthens the immune system, contains high levels of iodine, reduces cardiovascular diseases, is a great source of vitamin B6, regulates blood sugar. Garlic has so many benefits that I decided to always keep fresh garlic in my fridge. Besides,  I like to cook using fresh garlic, and so many of the recipes I make are tastier with garlic. I used to have a similar tool, but nowhere near this good. My first impression when I took it out of the box was wow. Shiny and sturdy were two things that crossed my mind. I was very impressed with the quality of this tool. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store it away, it doesn't take up a lot of room at all.

 When you are ready to use the garlic press, you just insert the garlic clove in the little box, give it a squeeze and you have perfectly minced garlic in just seconds. The only thing left inside is a thin layer of skin, no waste which is great!

Now that I have such a good tool for this job, I want to compare it with the old stuff I had. It was not made of a durable material, and over time it bended in the spot where the garlic was to be squeezed. That made it very difficult to mince the whole clove, and a lot of it was wasted.The moment I replaced it, I was happy to get rid of it and keep this stainless steel garlic press.

This is the old tool that was not doing it's job properly and I was really happy to replace it.

 I have been pretty blessed to try several products from Adovia. A company that has as a main ingredient Dead Sea Minerals. Their products are very gentle to the skin, and give good results over time.

The product that I last tried is the eye cream, which promises to reduce puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. I have not used it long enough to see all these results, but the cream is very promising. I didn't use eye cream before, and not having done so I wasn't sure what to expect.  Adovia is a brand of cosmetics I really like and recommend. I am really excited to use products that have Dead Sea Minerals as ingredients. They have so many benefits to the body due to the  high concentration of salt and minerals.

I have a somewhat sensitive skin, so many of the moisturizers and face creams turn my face red right after applying them to my face. 2014 & 2015 Daily Planner Review

With the latest technology in place it has been rare to see people jotting down on paper calendars their schedule, or to do lists. I consider myself on old fashion in this area, and I don't mind it. I do like to see black on white on paper how my schedule or planning looks like. So paper book planners have been my attraction. They are handy and always available, I don't have the unpleasant surprise to have them run out of batteries when I really need to write things down.

The Daily Planner was designed by Sue Hooley, mother of six children ages 5-21.  What  attracted me the most from the first glance at these daily planners, and I found it really special, are the Bible verses and words of encouragement throughout the planner. We need uplifting words, and words of truth. They give us peace in a very turbulent and violent world. The planners have a very nice layout. Each planner has a yearly, monthly, and weekly calendar for your general or more detailed planning. Plus task list, projects & events, information, and shopping list. A total of seven sections.

The planner books are lightweight. They have a soft cover and spirals. They are easy to carry in your purse and come in handy to have around.

Comfortable Sleep Mask, Ear Plugs & Carry Case Review

Bedtime Bliss provided me with this comfy sleep mask, ear plugs and carry case in exchange for my honest opinion. I am a very light sleeper, so light and noise can easily wake me up or keep me awake for hours. This mask is a good addition to my sleeping routine. I like that the mask is adjustable with velcro in the back, and I can make it as loose or as tight as I like. Another nice thing about this mask is that it's not tight around the eyes and the nose is covered so no light would go thorough, unlike other sleeping masks. 

The  fabric of the mask is soft and shaped to keep you as comfortable as possible. It comes with a regular pair of ear plugs, but I prefer the ones I already use. When I am done using the mask I fold it and put it in the little carry case it came with. I am very pleased with this product and I recommend it if you need external help to make you sleep faster. You can use this mask for a good night sleep so the sunshine early in the morning won't wake you up before your alarm clock does. You can use it in the airplanes, long car rides, camping, everywhere you lay your head to sleep.
